These men and others were not able to attend the reunion except David Creviston who made both. We missed them and we hope they will be able to come to the next one. Fortunately, they were able to have their own get together
Front row L-R: John Sywensky, Barry Goforth, Ed Best,
Back row L-R: James Harkness, Tony Cornetto, David Creviston, and Steven Beckett. |
Just wanted to share our good time with all of you.
Creviston hasn't seen John since Nam, and they were out with F Troop together. Crevy was senior aid man the day chopper took new boots head off. They dipped in the paddys with helmets and cups to retrieve all body parts. John always thought it was a bad dream; he couldn't remember if it was true. Putting our life back together after so many years is a passion for me now. This day in my life was the ultimate amount of happiness I could consume in one day. These were six of the closest guys to me and each other as we could get. The web made this possible and your dedication of the site as well. Sure missed being at the Big reuion but we all gotta do what we gotta do, there ain't much time for nothing else. Barry Goforth
